Tour Schedule

Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive around the soda lake, well known for flamingos, rhinos, Rothschild giraffes, and diverse birdlife.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge in Nakuru.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, drive to the world-famous Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the rolling plains, home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, and large herds of wildebeest and zebra.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve
Spend a full day in the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives, or an optional full-day safari with a picnic lunch. Explore different areas of the reserve and enjoy exceptional wildlife viewing in this iconic ecosystem.

Day 4: Masai Mara – Fly to Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled flight from Masai Mara to Serengeti, crossing into Tanzania. Upon arrival, meet your safari guide and enjoy a game drive en route to your camp. Spend the afternoon exploring the vast Serengeti plains.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge or tented camp.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Enjoy a full day in the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Witness endless grasslands dotted with acacia trees and an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and large migrating herds depending on the season. All meals and overnight at your camp.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park
Another full day dedicated to exploring different regions of the Serengeti. Your guide will track wildlife movements and take you to prime viewing areas for predators and plains game. Optional activities such as a hot air balloon safari may be available.

Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 7: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, enjoying its dense wildlife population, including rhinos, lions, hippos, and flamingos. Later, continue to Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 8: Tarangire National Park
Spend a full day exploring Tarangire National Park, famous for its massive baobab trees, seasonal Tarangire River, and large elephant herds. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in this scenic park.

Day 9: Tarangire – Arusha
After breakfast, enjoy a final short game drive in Tarangire before departing for Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon, marking the end of your 9-day cross-border safari adventure.
