Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Meet at Bazaar, Moi Avenue at 7:30 am and depart for the Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley and Narok town. Arrive for lunch, check in, and relax. In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in search of lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, cheetahs, and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge.
Day 2: Masai Mara – Full Day
After breakfast, head out with packed lunches for a full-day game drive across the reserve. Explore different regions in search of the Big Five and other wildlife, with a chance to see the Great Migration (July–October). Picnic lunch in the wild, then continue with an afternoon game drive before returning for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, bid farewell to the Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a birdwatcher’s paradise renowned for its flocks of flamingos, pelicans, and over 400 bird species. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive across the park’s diverse landscapes of acacia woodlands and open plains. Lake Nakuru is also one of the best places in Kenya to spot both black and white rhinos, as well as Rothschild’s giraffes, waterbucks, baboons, and the elusive leopard. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake located in the Great Rift Valley. On arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy lunch. Spend the afternoon on a relaxing boat ride across the lake, where you will spot pods of hippos and a rich variety of birdlife including fish eagles, cormorants, and kingfishers. Disembark at Crescent Island, a privately owned sanctuary where you can take a guided nature walk and stroll freely among giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and gazelles. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Nairobi
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi, enjoying scenic views of the Rift Valley along the way. Arrive in the city at approximately 3:00 pm, with drop-off at your hotel (within Nairobi CBD) or at a convenient central location. This marks the end of your unforgettable safari adventure, leaving you with lasting memories of Kenya’s stunning landscapes, incredible wildlife, and rich culture.
