Tour Schedule

Day 1: Nairobi → Amboseli National Park
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive south through the scenic Athi Plains and Maasai countryside, arriving in Amboseli by midday. Check in at your lodge or camp, enjoy lunch, and relax before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Explore Amboseli’s vast plains, marshes, and woodlands, famous for their large elephant herds and beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli
Enjoy a full day of safari in Amboseli, starting with an early-morning game drive when wildlife is most active and Kilimanjaro is often visible before clouds build up. Search for elephants, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, buffalo, giraffes, and an array of bird species around the wetlands. Spend the mid-day relaxing at the lodge, then head out again for an afternoon game drive as the sun sets behind the savannah. Dinner and overnight in Amboseli.

Day 3: Amboseli → Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary (Salt Lick Lodge)
After breakfast, check out and drive east toward the Taita Hills region. Enter the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary and proceed to Salt Lick Safari Lodge, uniquely built on stilts overlooking a busy waterhole where wildlife gathers throughout the day. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the sanctuary, known for elephants, lions, buffalo, antelopes, and excellent birdlife. Return to the lodge for dinner and enjoy nighttime viewing from the lodge’s elevated decks as animals visit the illuminated waterhole. Overnight at Salt Lick.

Day 4: Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary (Salt Lick Lodge)
Enjoy another day at Taita Hills.

Day 5: Taita Hills → Nairobi
Start the day with an early-morning game drive to catch wildlife activity at dawn. Return to the lodge for breakfast, then check out and begin your drive back to Nairobi. Arrive in the afternoon, marking the end of your 4-day, 3-night safari adventure.
