DAY 1:NAIROBI TO MASAI MARA
Your safari journey begins in Nairobi with an early morning transfer to Wilson Airport, where you’ll board a scheduled light aircraft flight to the Mara North Airstrip. The flight takes approximately 60 minutes, offering breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley and the patchwork of savannahs below. Upon landing, you’ll be met by a professional safari guide from Neptune Mara Rianta and transferred to the lodge through a short game drive, allowing your first close-up sightings of Kenya’s incredible wildlife. Nestled along the banks of the Mara River, the camp is surrounded by rolling grasslands and rich riverine forest, often visited by hippos and elephants right from your private deck. After a warm welcome and check-in, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch before heading out on your first afternoon game drive around 3:30 PM. This northern area of the Masai Mara is quieter than the central reserve and teeming with wildlife, making for an intimate safari experience. After watching the sun set over the savannah, you’ll return to camp for a gourmet dinner and a relaxing evening by the campfire or lounge, soaking in the sounds of the wild.
Day 2 & 3: A Day in the Masai Mara
Early morning wake-up, for a game drive starting at 6:30 am. This is one of the best times to be in the bush, as predators are still active and the soft morning light creates ideal conditions for spotting and photographing wildlife. As you explore, keep your eyes open for sightings of the Big Five;lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo as well as dozens of other species like zebra, giraffe, impala, and a wide variety of birds.By 10:00 am, you’ll head back to camp for a chance to freshen up and relax after the early start. The rest of the morning can be spent resting, napping, or simply enjoying the tranquility of the lodge. Lunch is served till 2:30 pm, with a delicious variety of dishes and a spectacular view of the surrounding plains. In the afternoon, you can choose to relax at the spa, lounge with a book, or take in the birdlife and sounds of the Mara. Head out for an evening game drive for another chance to explore the Masai Mara’s vast terrain.
This game drive takes you deeper into the reserve, where the magic of the Mara truly comes to life. Known for its rich biodiversity, the Mara is home not just to the Big Five, but also to dramatic predator-prey interactions, vast herds of wildebeest and zebra, and unforgettable sunsets. You may be lucky to witness a lion hunt, a herd of elephants crossing a river, or the stealth of a leopard hidden in a tree. Return to camp just in time for a hearty dinner, followed by a relaxing evening by the bonfire, enjoying your favorite drink and reflecting on the day’s encounters.
Day 4:Mara to Nairobi
On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at 9:00 am, followed by a transfer to the Airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. After an early check-in at 10:00 am, you’ll board your flight around 11:00 am. The one-hour journey gives you one last chance to take in the panoramic views of Kenya’s landscapes from the air.
