Nairobi national park is Kenya’s first park to be gazette and has lots of wildlife and birds – The park is renowned as the only park in a city. With most of the big five on sight, this is the thrilling adventure you need in the wide-open grass plains coupled with a beautiful view of the city’s scrapers. Wildlife including the endangered black rhino, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes and diverse birdlife with over 400 species recorded.
The Giraffe Centre is located in Lang'ata, approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) from the centre of Nairobi, Kenya. It was established in order to protect the vulnerable giraffe, that is found only in the grasslands of East Africa.
The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Nursery, located in Nairobi National Park, is where an orphan's journey begins, a journey that will culminate, many years down the line, in their reintegration back into the wild.The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust operates an orphan elephant rescue and wildlife rehabilitation.

Day 1: NAIROBI EXCURSION
Early morning pickup at your hotel/ Airport takes you to the Nairobi National Park. Enjoy an early morning drive in search of the wildlife of the Park; during the first hour of the day is when big cats tend to be more active. Wide open grass plains and a backdrop of the city scrapers, scattered acacia bush play host to a wide variety of wildlife is a thrilling adventure. Enroute to the David Sheldrick Wildlife scheduled as from 11-12 pm to view the orphaned elephants. By noontime, head out of the park to the Giraffe Centre to have a closer encounter and feed the giraffes. Later on head to Nairobi CBD for lunch then drive to the hotel for check in and overnight.
DAY 2: NAIROBI - MASAI MARA
Meeting at the hotel and drive to Masai Mara through The Great African Rift Valley escarpment through Masai Town Narok. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at the camp and rest. Enjoy an Afternoon game drive as from 4pm – 6pm through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five plus other animals. Dinner and overnight at the hotel/lodge.
DAY 3: MASAI MARA - MARA RIVER
Have Breakfast by 8am and leave for full day game drive with packed lunch: Comprehensive game drive to view the wildlife and a visit to the Mara River famous for the wildebeest migration. Have lunch by the river and proceed with the game drive until 4pm.
Return to Camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 4: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI
Early Morning game drive as from 6am – 8am and later breakfast at the camp. Check out and prepare for the safari back to Nairobi; Lunch enroute at Narok. (You can opt to visit the local Masai village to enjoy their music and dance and visit the huts to learn about their way of life.)
