DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN NAIROBI – MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE
Meet at Bazaar, Moi Avenue at 7:30 am, and depart for Masai Mara at 8:00 am. The drive takes you through the Great African Rift Valley escarpment, offering breathtaking scenery and a stopover for photography. Continue through the vibrant Masai town of Narok, where you’ll get a glimpse of the local culture before proceeding to the reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at your lodge/camp, followed by some rest. Later in the afternoon, set out on your first thrilling game drive in the Masai Mara, world-famous for its dense wildlife population. Expect to encounter lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and a wide variety of plains game, plus beautiful birdlife. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.
DAY 2: FULL-DAY SAFARI IN MASAI MARA
After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day safari adventure in the Masai Mara. To make the most of your time in the wilderness, you will carry packed picnic lunches and enjoy them in the heart of the reserve. The game drive takes you across different regions of the Mara in search of the legendary “Big Five”—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—along with many other remarkable species such as hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, and crocodiles along the Mara River. Between July and October, this reserve comes alive with the world-famous Great Migration, when thousands of wildebeests and zebras thunder across the plains and brave the river crossings in one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles. After your picnic lunch, continue exploring during the afternoon game drive before returning to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 3: MASAI MARA – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, bid farewell to the Mara and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, a birdwatcher’s paradise renowned for its flocks of flamingos, pelicans, and over 400 bird species. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive across the park’s diverse landscapes of acacia woodlands and open plains. Lake Nakuru is also one of the best places in Kenya to spot both black and white rhinos, as well as Rothschild’s giraffes, waterbucks, baboons, and the elusive leopard. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
DAY 4: LAKE NAKURU –– NAIROBI
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Nairobi, enjoying scenic views of the Rift Valley along the way. Arrive in the city at approximately 3:00 pm, with drop-off at your hotel (within Nairobi CBD) or at a convenient central location. This marks the end of your unforgettable safari adventure, leaving you with lasting memories of Kenya’s stunning landscapes, incredible wildlife, and rich culture.
