Maasai Mara National Reserve (masai mara national reserve )is one of the key popular tourism points in Kenya, its located in South-western Kenya along the Great Rift Valley area in Narok county adjacent to Serengeti national park of Tanzania.
Jambo Mara Safari Lodge is a luxurious and eco-friendly lodge in Maasai Mara National Reserve. The Lodge boasts 108 cottages (50 wooden cottage cabins, 55 deluxe glass cottages, 2 business suites and 1 presidential suite), each of which enjoys a spacious en-suite bathroom which equipped with showers, hand wash basins, flush toilets and a private terrace where you can relax and let pass by your impressions collected during an eventful day on safari. All rooms have a separate balcony with views.
Group joining safaris offers travellers a cheaper way to travel by joining with other travellers in the car and staying private at lodges or camps near each other; you only join in the car and stay in own rooms. Please note that by the fact that its joining with other travellers, you may encounter characters and behaviours from different travellers who come from different countries; However, this is a great way to meet new people and make new friends!

DAY 1: NAIROBI – MASAI MARA
Meet at Bazaar, Moi Avenue at 7:30 am, and depart for Masai Mara at 8:00 am. The drive takes you through the Great African Rift Valley escarpment, offering breathtaking scenery and a stopover for photography. Continue through the vibrant Masai town of Narok, where you’ll get a glimpse of the local culture before proceeding to the reserve. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at your lodge/camp, followed by some rest. Later in the afternoon, set out on your first thrilling game drive in the Masai Mara, world-famous for its dense wildlife population. Expect to encounter lion, cheetah, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and a wide variety of plains game, plus beautiful birdlife. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight stay, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African wilderness.
DAY 2: MASAI MARA
Enjoy an early breakfast, then head out for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. This adventure allows you to explore deeper into the park, covering different habitats and landscapes. You’ll visit the Mara River, the dramatic focal point of the Great Wildebeest Migration (July–October), where millions of wildebeest and zebras attempt the treacherous crossing in search of greener pastures. Even outside migration season, the river is home to hippos and crocodiles, making it a fantastic wildlife spectacle year-round. Have your picnic lunch in the wild under the shade of an acacia tree, then continue with your game drive until around 4:00 pm. Return to camp for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
DAY 3: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI
After breakfast, check out of the camp. Before departure, you may opt for a cultural visit to a Masai village (extra $20 per person) where you’ll enjoy traditional songs, dances, and learn about the unique lifestyle and customs of the Masai people. Depart Masai Mara for Nairobi with a stopover along the way. Arrive in the city at approximately 3:00 pm, with drop-off at your hotel (within Nairobi CBD) or at a convenient central location.
