Although their numbers fluctuate due to environmental changes, the lake remains a vital sanctuary for these birds. The park is home to a variety of animals, including rhinos (both black and white), lions, leopards, giraffes, and waterbucks. It's also an important rhino sanctuary, contributing to the conservation of these endangered species. The park features forests, savannahs, and the alkaline lake, offering varied landscapes within a compact area.
